Community guidelines

Question the idea.
Respect the Peep.

We can disagree without turning on each other.

Make room for other views.

Respond to what someone said. Explain your reasoning. Add a source when it helps. Liking one comment doesn’t stop you from appreciating another.

Keep people safe.

No threats, doxxing, bounties, targeted harassment, incitement to violence, illegal content, or non-consensual intimate content. Dislikes must address the comment, never a person’s safety or identity.

Never allowed, never earns.

No nudity, pornography or sexual content. No hate speech: nothing attacking people for their race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender, sexual orientation or any other immutable trait. No violent extremism: nothing that promotes, praises or supports terrorism, violent extremist groups or unlawful violence. Nothing that infringes someone’s copyright, trademark or other rights. Comments like these are blocked automatically where we can detect them, removed when reported, and can never earn: removing a comment cancels its unlocked earnings.

Repeat violations.

Breaking these rules gets the comment removed. Doing it again can lose you the ability to post, freeze your earnings, or close your account. Three valid copyright notices in 12 months closes an account.

Play fairly.

Do not create fake accounts to farm starter Pennies, coordinate like rings, or manipulate dislikes. You can’t like or dislike your own comments.

Help us look after the community.

Use the report menu on a comment when something needs attention. You can also mute or block an account. Moderators may remove content, freeze earnings, reverse pending likes, cancel dislikes, and suspend accounts.

Discussions have a report button too. Anyone, signed in or not, can ask us to remove an intimate image shared without consent through the image removal form, and copyright owners can follow the copyright policy.
