Copyright policy

Lumon LLC respects copyright and responds to notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512).

Sending a takedown notice

If you believe something on PennyPeeps infringes a copyright you own or manage, send a written notice to our designated agent (below) that includes:

Before you send one, consider whether the use could be fair use. Knowingly false notices can make you liable for damages.

What happens next

When we receive a complete notice we remove or disable access to the material promptly, tell the person who posted it, and pass on a copy of the notice.

Counter-notice

If your material was removed by mistake or because it was misidentified, send our agent a counter-notice that includes:

We send the counter-notice to the person who sent the original notice. Unless they tell us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action, we restore the material 10 to 14 business days after we receive the counter-notice.

Repeat infringers

We close, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe. An account with three valid notices against it in 12 months, not resolved by a counter-notice, is closed. We may close an account sooner for clear or deliberate infringement. People whose accounts were closed this way may not open new ones.
